My experience with my mentor was the most incredible part of my journey with law. As part of the Supernova Programme, he guided me in every aspect of my application season, from the initial online application to the vacation scheme itself. He always made himself so available and this is something I will always be so grateful for. Fundamentally, my mentor has been an integral part of my success and if it wasn’t for STRIVE, this wouldn’t have been possible. The mock interviews and written tests as part of STRIVE also proved to be very helpful in preparing for assessment centres. The best thing about STRIVE is the quality of the mentoring and the tailored nature of it. It doesn’t feel like it’s a platform where you’re one of so many that it feels like a copy and paste advice situation - I felt like my mentor was genuinely there for me for everything.
